Profound Statements
So we are supposed to write about all our impressions. I have finally arrived here in D.C, I am the latecomer. I remember having a few thoughts that might pass as intelligent, or at least intelligible as I looked at the minute snowflakes that formed on my window on the plane. I guess thats the closest Ive ever come to seeing snow. but right now, having just reached my hotel room after a day of flying the most profound impression I can come up with is : they have automatic FLUSHES in Dulles airport???

Hamdela 3al Salama! This blog rocks! I know what you mean about the flushes - I was so fascinated by them (and the automatic water faucets and soap dispensers) on my first trip to the U.S. I remember when I came back to Egypt I half-consciously expected our toilets here to behave the same.
